Two dates, three stores, no Xbox

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. announced Thursday 24 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games. PlayStation Store US and PlayStation Blog use that same day. Steam's English appdetails payload listed Sep 23, 2026 with coming_soon true. Both dates sit here. If you are setting a reminder, Konami's press date is 24 September 2026.

Xbox is absent from official Konami product pages and press. The correct reading is that those surfaces do not offer an Xbox SKU, not that a hidden SKU was searched for and disproved on every third-party store. This guide follows the first-party list: PS5, Steam, Epic.

Physical is PlayStation 5 only. Deluxe is digital-only. PC is Windows-only; Steam requirements name Windows 11 x64 on both tiers. macOS and Linux are not listed. Series producer Motoi Okamoto frames the date as the third consecutive autumn Silent Hill launch after Silent Hill 2 (2024) and Silent Hill f (2025).

Windows hardware targets

Minimum is Windows 11 x64, AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel i7-8700K, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super or AMD Radeon RX 6600, DirectX 12, 75 GB, aiming at Low 1080p 30fps. Recommended is Windows 11 x64, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X or Intel i7-9700K, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, DirectX 12, 75 GB, aiming at High 4K 30fps with DLSS, FSR, or TSR Balanced.

Both tiers ask for 75 GB. There is no Steam Deck target in the requirements block used here. Single-player, full controller support, and Steam Cloud are the Steam category flags. DualSense support is listed on Steam; DualSense motion for CRTV tuning is the PlayStation Blog note.

If your machine is under the minimum GPU, Steam does not publish a low-spec waiver. The table is the Steam list. Buying Deluxe does not lower the GPU bar; it only moves the start time by 48 hours. See Deluxe Edition.

Audio, text, and ratings

Steam language support lists thirteen languages with interface and subtitles. Only English and Japanese include full audio. The table below is that list, including both Spanish variants and both Chinese written forms, plus German, Italian, and Portuguese-Brazil, which are Steam languages rather than extra UI locales here.

Jovan Adepo, Kezia Burrows, and Terry O'Quinn are the English performances. 安元 洋貴, 甲斐田 裕子, and 大塚 明夫 are the Japanese voices. If you need those names in a grid, open Jovan Adepo. Audio language is a platform fact; it is not a spoiler about who talks on the CRTV.

ESRB rates SILENT HILL: Townfall M for Mature 17+ with Blood, Strong Language, and Violence. The Japanese official card lists CERO D. PlayStation Store repeats the ESRB line on the US product. Steam achievements remain unpublished on the public community page while the coming-soon flag holds; Steam has not published a trophy list.

Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian Steam storefronts keep English about text in the payloads used for this guide. Those locales still display the original title SILENT HILL: Townfall. The guide follows that title instead of a homemade transliteration.

Official store surfaces

Steam remains the working English PC storefront for app 1636440, including the requirements table and the language matrix. PlayStation Store US is the working console product page for the Standard SKU. Epic is the third official PC door, linked from Konami's Japanese order row as silent-hill-townfall-0cb037.

The Japanese official homepage is the readable HTML marketing surface when US and EU pages sit behind an age gate. Use it for story, features, characters, CERO D, and the 2026.9.24 product card. Do not treat a blocked age-gate page as a missing platform.

Set your reminder on 24 September 2026 if you follow Konami and PlayStation. Keep Steam's Sep 23 coming-soon line in view so a storefront discrepancy does not look like this guide invented a day. Both timestamps are first-party facts sitting on the same product.
