St. Amelia field guide
SILENT HILL: Townfall
SILENT HILL: Townfall is Screen Burn's first-person psychological horror, co-published by KONAMI and Annapurna Interactive, set in the fictional Scottish island town of St. Amelia in 1996. Simon Ordell is called back to put things right and finds a fog-quiet town that looks abandoned and is not at rest. Official copy frames this as the first full-length SILENT HILL game presented through Simon's eyes, with the series radio reborn as the CRTV, a pocket television that tunes unstable analog signals. Konami's launch day is 24 September 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Steam still lists Sep 23 with a coming-soon flag. Deluxe early access is already live.

From 2022 teaser to launch week
Townfall was first shown while No Code still developed the game. The teaser placed the title in the wider Silent Hill Transmission slate without a date, platform list, or CRTV explanation.
The first full trailer and the St. Amelia pitch arrived with a Coming in 2026 line. Konami's regional sites went live behind age gates; the Japanese homepage already carried story, features, and characters.
Konami locked Thursday 24 September 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store. Steam's US storefront still showed Sep 23 with a coming-soon flag. Standard and Deluxe packages went on sale the same week; Deluxe's 48-hour window is the same first-person island, not a different St. Amelia. No Xbox SKU appears on those official surfaces.
The official Gameplay Trailer walks Shorefront, Zoe's house, and Otherworld combat with a pistol. It is the longest first-party look at how stealth, firearms, and the CRTV sit in the same walk.
gamescom Opening Night Live named Jovan Adepo, Kezia Burrows, and Terry O'Quinn. The Japanese official site adds 安元 洋貴, 甲斐田 裕子, and 大塚 明夫.
SILENT HILL (Official) posted the Launch Trailer two days before Konami's 24 September date, closing the public film set that began with the February reveal. The longer playable look is the 18-minute Gameplay Trailer on the trailers page.

Screen Burn, once No Code
No Code rebranded as Screen Burn Interactive in July 2025, citing CRT screen-burn as the namesake. That Glasgow studio had already been attached to Townfall at the 19 October 2022 Silent Hill Transmission teaser. The in-game object is the pocket television; the company name is a studio joke about analog residue, not a second gadget in Simon's bag.
Jon McKellan still writes and directs, Graeme McKellan still leads game design, and Pilotpriest still scores. KONAMI and Annapurna Interactive co-publish. The Japanese /jp/ja/ homepage is the readable first-party HTML surface; Steam app 1636440 remains the working English storefront for prices, PC specs, and screenshots.

Where to start on this guide
Read St. Amelia for the 1996 island, then Simon Ordell for the IV bag and named wristband. CRTV is the pocket-television primer. Strategic Stealth and Combat covers melee, firearms, stealth from cover, and distraction as four legal answers to the same encounter.
Deluxe Edition is the price table. September 24, 2026 lists stores, PC tiers, and the Steam versus Konami date split. Jovan Adepo is the three-row voice table. Launch Trailer holds the five official films. Multiple Endings is the confirmed note, not an unlock map.

What Townfall is
Screen Burn Interactive Ltd, formerly No Code, built a self-contained first-person psychological horror rather than a numbered sequel. Pilotpriest composed the dynamic soundtrack. The Japanese official footer brands Unreal Engine. Steam lists the Windows build as 64-bit Windows 11 with full controller support, Steam Cloud, and DualSense support.
KONAMI EU press cites over 17.1 million SILENT HILL franchise copies worldwide as of March 2026. Series producer Motoi Okamoto frames Townfall as the third consecutive autumn launch after Silent Hill 2 in 2024 and Silent Hill f in 2025. ESRB rates the game M for Blood, Strong Language, and Violence. The Japanese product card lists CERO D. Steam promises multiple endings shaped by how you play, without naming those endings.
